will a g35c 5AT be able to beat an AUDI TT manual? both stock of course...

 

It would be pretty close with the 3.2L 250hp version, but the G is faster on paper. This basically means it's a driver's race. All things being equal, the G35 would edge it out 0-60 and 1/4mi.

a AT g35c will take a audi TT easilly. Doesn't seem to matter what model TT either. 3 to 0 G35coupe vs. TT. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] They started it and I finished it, but I have 6mt. I think the AT can do it just as easilly though.

When the TT first came out I raced one with a civic dx manual. I never passed him, but he could never pull away.

Ova, the '04 Quattro TT is new. It uses the VR6 motor which is very nice. The statistics are quite G-like:

0-60 mph: 5.8 sec
0-100 mph: 14.8 sec
Quarter Mile: 14.1 sec @ 98 mph
Skidpad: .88g
Top Speed: 155 mph
Braking, 60-0 mph: 117 ft
Slalom Speed: 63.8 mph

Plenty of stock Gs are posting 1/4 times at 14.1 and over. With the '04 TT, it will come down to the driver.

That is straight ahead speed of course. I have driven both and am afraid to say that the new 3.2 TT with quattro will own a G in the high speed turns. However still love the lightning quick G steering that comes from RWD. Maybe if the two drivers were professional on a road course but with two average joes the TT wins in the twisties. P.S. - The new 3.2 TT also has a new type of CVT tranny that has double clutches and is supposed to shift very much like an SMG. Peace.
