get a carfax report using the VIN before you even meet up - may save you a trip if damaged, salvaged, was a rental.....

Thanks for all the input guys:

-Checked out Carfax. It looks clean.
-He has all records of service done at the dealer.

-I will check it out Sunday and if everything looks good, I will have him bring it up to my dads shop so I can put it on a lift and have him check everything else out.

As for tire feathering...what is the cure? Is it because of negative camber?

Check the the dipsick and make sure there is oil reading on it. If not you don't want it b/c oil consumption issues.

Good deal on the lift and inspection. Always err on the side of caution when buying a used car.

As for the tire feathering...sigh...it's an inherent design flaw on the FM platform. It was prevalent, and still is on the Zs, G coupes, and even some G sedans. I've read posts of feathering being resolved when owners upgraded tires/rims and dropped the suspension but I suspect this is not completely accurate. When you lower your car, you have to get a 4 wheel alignment so I think it's the alignment that fixed their problems. Not just an Infiniti dealer, but a professional 3rd party shop that knows what they're doing.

I hope you car doesn't have this problem cuz it'll save a lot of headaches not to mention the money replacing the tires.

^^^ I plan to run coilovers and 20" iForged's down the line so I'm sure tire wear will be a problem. The owner just installed Toyo T1-R's on OEM 19's.
