Hi All,

I have a 2004 6MT DG Coupe and I recently put a small dent in the back quarter panel. Anyhow, while I had it in for painting, I was thinking about having them paint all of the "silver" parts on the inside the DG color (door handles, center console, steering wheel, etc.) One, how do you think that would look, two, is it possible on the material they use (i.e. will the paint eat away at the plastic?) Let me know.

It would be a b!tch to take it all apart to be painted, and the buttons on the radio are the silver color too, so you would have to do something with them...

I have been contemplating something similar... to have it clearcoated to protect it and make it seem nicer!

I'd have to see it to have an opinion, but it sounds like it can be a cool mod. Isn't this what they did in one of the new Ferarri's and Ford GT? I know one of the new high end sports cars got this treatment, except I saw it in red, not our more conservative DG. I'd be interested in seeing how it would turn out. Good luck if you decide to go ahead with it!
