Mods, don't move this. I think it will benefit coupe owners generally. Anyway, if you notice that your hood hinges are sticking or not feeling right, take the car to your dealership right away. There is an occasional failure of the hinges that is not on the TSB or Recall notices. It is covered under warranty. Mine was the driver's side hinge and I know of at least one other member with the same issue. I didn't realize that it was a hinge problem or that it needed to be replaced. I had some work done on the car and when the mechanic opened the hood it caused paint chipping on the edge of the hood and fender where the hinge is located. Now, I have to get a repaint of those areas. I find out later today if the repaint is also covered. The service rep said that it most likely is covered. Like I said, take it in BEFORE that happens.
