Re: HID crazyness...

You have to get 6000K up to 10000K bulbs to make it stay blue. The coupe has 4000K stock I believe. The higher the bulb on the Kelvin scale the bluer it is.

HID bulbs aren't cheap, so expect to pay $200 to $300 for Ultinons from online vendors. You can try ebay.

I'll be selling my 7500K bulbs after the Socal meet on 12/27. I decided that I like 4100K bulbs better.

Re: HID crazyness...

Remember, more blue = less light. Plus, these bulbs dont last as long. So, you are basically buying pretty lights.

Congrats!

Re: HID crazyness...

I'd rather have white light for better visibility. The headlights are there to benefit ME, not other people.

Re: HID crazyness...

When the lights are turned on and are blue the visitibily its 25% (1/4) better than when they turn white... anyway to make the blue stay blue on stock?
