The whole process from start to finish went like clockwork. It was almost spooky as if it was meant for me to get this car. Other orders that went in before mine have a Jan due date or have been put on hold or have no current status.
Anyway, it had 7 miles on it when I got it. Drove it to my sister's house for her to take a look at it. I think I got 50 miles on it now. It is currently sitting in the garage staying out of the weather. We have rain on the way here tonight.

Looks beautiful. I'll probably consider sleeping in the garage the first night. It's going to be near impossible to stay below 4k rpm for 1200mi. I'm not convinced you have to baby a 2004 like you did in the 1980's but if that's what the book says...Will a standard spray on/hose off wheel cleaner take care of the brake dust?
