Re: "w" orders
That would depend on what part of the country you're in. I'm in Central Florida and my "W" order is due to arrive at the dealership on 1/21 at the latest, but the dealership is saying it may even arrive up to a week earlier.

Oh....I see.
Actually, I thought you were saying that you could go to the infiniti.com website and input your VIN and it would tell you something about the build/ship/delivery status of the vehicle.
I'd already checked all 32 dealerships within my 150 mile radius for vehicles with '80' prefixes to see if any was even close to the '805759' my dealer gave me. The closest I came was 803313. Obviously I'm not that lazy. I simply misunderstood you. I thought you were saying that the infiniti.com site had a dynamic tracking system for vehicles that were completed.
My concern was that, since my order was placed in September, and since I had not received any really tangible information from the dealer for a long time (no build number...) and since he miraculously came up with a VIN only after I badgered him, then maybe there was a way to validate the existence of the VIN.
So far, it appears I'm around 2400 vehicles back. I am, however, difinitely too lazy or too busy to check all of the dealerships in the US and Canada :-)
Thanks for responding though.
