I'm thinking that that's an iPod Charger, maybe an integration kit.

Importing your own car is usually not an issue. The rules are quite relaxed, but you must have owned the car for at least 12 months and be able to prove it.
BUT - you will have to convert the car to right hand drive, which will run in to the thousands. I wouldn't even bother to be honest. Strip the car of all the goodies, mail over to Aus, and buy yourself a new one once you get here, and put it all together again.
Will work out much cheaper than doing a conversion.

Fingers crossed it is an ipod charger.

I didn't opt to get a V35 with the Navi, since it's such a PITA and expensive to make it work - plus I wanted the extra storage from the cubby hole!

Instead I've gone a double DIN TFT setup. Reverse camera, DVD, TV, Radio, CD, SD and USB. Haven't got Navi yet, but it's not important to have it integrated, as I drive 2 cars - so I'll prob just get a TomTom or something portable.

Very nice!
I was actually wasn't looking for Navi either, but this come up at a pretty good price so wasn't fussed. Hopefully someone will figure out how to get it working.

Is it Manual or auto?
I decided on auto simply cause I'll be driving 40k's each way to work in it, in sydney traffic, but if it get's too boring, I'll more than like trade it for a manual.

That's fantastic, a truly global forum...haha not exactly...

So we got Yanks, Maples, and Aussies....who else???

I've been to both Canada and the US, and I gotta say, great countries...but I'd give them up anyday for Australia!

Gotta love that lakeshore!
2005, with 24,000 km's.
And yes, I know it has the 17's but wheels were going to be my first mod anyway, so couldn't see any sense in paying extra for something I was going to change. It's actually good motivation to make sure I sort the wheels out as soon as the car lands :-) Oh and if anyone knows how to get a HKS Hi Power down to australia for a decent price, please let me know. Those f****** cost $3000 down here.

To save me starting a new thread, can anyone tell me what this wire connects? seems to be in the centre console.
