i'd put it on my sedan if it looked a little fancier

translucent plastic doesn't really match with the luxury look in my opinion.

Paddle shift

Hi

I am from Australia and the Skyline V35 which is the same as the Inifinity G35 has the paddle shift standard on the 350GT-8 which has an 8 speed variable automatic transmission.

The paddles are factory fitted and you may be able to be source them from wreckers (auto dismantlers) in Japan.

Worth chasing up as the factory ones look much better that the ones in the link.

Yea. wouldn't it be easier to swap the paddle shifters from the '07 g35 sedan? Same steering wheel, but it has paddle shifters. I think it would be easier then getting another car's steering wheel. Just my opinion. I haven't researched this at all, but it sounds easier in theory.

An 8 speed AT? Hell, I'll take both the paddles and the transmission.

Only problem is the 8 speed that they have over there is a different kind of transmission. From my understanding it works off of pullies rather than actual gears...? It also has quite a bit of lag between shifts and very bogged from the start.

Thats just what i have heard.
