paddle shift conversion?

is it possible to fit paddles or buttons (like on alfa romeo's/farrari's) to the steering wheel of my skyline (tiptronic)
as the tiptronic function is electric i would have thought so?
does anybody know of a supplier/fabricator that could do this?

on my 2005 alfa romeo 156, i had buttons on the steering wheel (left for up and right for down changes)..it had + & - symbols on it. or the large alloy "flappy paddles" would be good.

I wonder if the 07 wheel would fit on previous years and the wire the paddle shifter to the tiptronic function on the console

to be honest, i guess it isnt that crazy of an idea. Considering the way the tiptronic shifts, youd jsut have to figure out how to hook it up the same way and really i dont think it would be too insane to do.

There's a paddle shift kit available in Japan... I'll see if I can find it again.

Yeah, my friend out there talked to the shop and they are currently not selling the kit for our car. It is listed as being in development for the V35, but is not yet available.

yeah, I'm kind of interested myself. I think this version is available, but you need to use an aftermarket wheel. I saw it setup at the Works Bell booth at Ebisu -

I'll see what my friend says-

thanks. Not feeling having to get a new steering wheel with that one though I like the first one when it comes out.
