for that horse power you got now (375), you still have a hard time to catch up with these Sti or Evo? If you really want to smoke them up and have extra green then you would get the MT; personally, I can live with that much horse power in my car and why need to proof to other how fast my ride can do. Trade in is out because in two years, my 04 coupe lost value over $20K...suckkkk

Auto is faster than the 6MT in most cases since a lot of people can't drive stick very well

Isn't the STi / EVO lighter? It's probably geared better, too. They are really race ready cars, there is not a single thing luxurious about them. I have driven a couple WRXs along with my friends 2006 STi. The STi was a blast to drive but it gets old. The harsh suspension and cheesy interior isn't something I'd like to deal with on a daily basis.

Anyway, back to my point. Even with an 6MT you would still have trouble keeping up with them, more than likely.

i can't believe you can't keep up with evo's and sti's with 375rwhp...where did you get your car tuned at? if i were you i'd take it to vrt or another reputable

nissan tuning shop and see if they could find a problem or tune it better...

When I first went FI I bought the Vortech kit. 2 weeks after installing the s/c I got smoked by an STI. That's when I swapped out the Vortech for the Gredddy TT's. I hardly lose to anything now.

375 to the wheels and you can't keep up with Evo's and STI's?

You're either giving half throttle, or they're just more modded than you are.

Either way, do whatever makes you happy.

I'd be more than happy with a Vortech SC on my 06 6MT (400 WHP is my goal, when ever I go FI)

.

Like everyone has been saying...with 375wHP you should be able to not only keep up but beat the STi, Evos...

They must be modded which most Evo and STi are since i hardly see any people buy thoughs turbod 4bangers and not mod them, they are mod machines only a few breather mods or fuel management mods and they are rockets, well more than they already are

Yeah,if there is a sticker on the evo that says something like AMStunned or something along those lines. Count your losses and walk the other way, because you probaby won't beat one of their cars. If it's your stocker sti or evo,you should whip it's ***. I'd suggest going to a well known tunning shop and getting them to look over your maps and ecu and see if they can re tune or get a different pulley for the sc. Maybe do some vb work and beef up the auto and fool around with the shift points. Don't know, but I wouldn't sell it,you already have an amazing car. I'd give anything to have your..."SO CALLED" problem. I just have an intake atm. FI is quite a ways off for me.
