Finally no rain or snow forecast for a few days so it was time to finally get the salt and grime off the G. While at the carwash (yes a carwash, no rail problems, soft cloth, been going there for years with no mishaps), I was asked by a gentleman and his wife if that was my Infiniti. Told him yes and he said "very nice" He had his 5 series there to be washed and his wife has a 3 series. I told them they obviuosly had excellant tastes in vehicles. He asked me if I looked at the Z as he really liked the looks (especially the convertible). I told him the G had the rear seat which I needed which he was not aware of. We agreed that Nissan/Infiniti were really marketing some nice looking vehicles which also have greatly improved their bottom line.
His wife smiled and said he was obviously antsy to trade again (about every two years). Well, mine was finished first so when we exchanged pleasantries his wife said "rear wheel drive is so superior, don't you think?" As this is my first rear wheel drive in almost twenty years I could't agree more! Just thought I'd share a story of mutual respect. BTW, the G looks great shining in the sun out my office window right now!

yeah.. even tho there have been a lot of encounters with some **** bmw drivers, there are some good ones out there.. glad you encountered one..
