Re: For all you complainers out there!!!!!!!
I'm with Zorro, Lexus is king. My dad still has a 1992 Lexus which has been in the shop ONCE (of course not counting regular maintenance). He doesn't wants to get rid of it. I told him to get a new lexus but hes gonna wait till the new GS 400 comes along.

>>I never knew so many people would complain about a hummer.<<
I recall reading that the results were skewed by a disproportionate number of owners complaining about fuel economy. There's a commentary in there somewhere about 1. the literacy rate of Hummer owners (EPA ratings are in 24 font bold letter type on the window sticker), 2. the poverty rate of Hummer owners (way too many of these $50k+ monstrosities driven by young, downwardly-mobile rap artist wannabies living at home), and 3. the educational level of Hummer owners (probably never passed high school physics; ergo, more weight requires greater force which requires greater energy).

As a Hummer owner, I'd like to see something (anything) that backs up these statements. Sounds to me like you're just pulling these "facts" out of your most convenient orifice.
Most of my hunting buddies that have Hummers are well educated and, like myself, enjoy the unmatched off-road capabilities of the Hummer.

LOL sorry I meant they shouldn't be complaining about it when many people complain about not getting hummers. Or their ladies probably don't have DSL's so it's not very enjoyable.

Having slogged through some serious mud...and being a serious hunter...and living in a region which is regularly muddy...not to mention being well-educated...an H2 is a useless contraption.
It's too heavy to get through the heaviest stuff....
It's too tall to climb in to with gear on...
It's too wide to make it through thick stuff...
And, apparently, it breaks....
I'll take a four-wheel drive Toyota any day...and most of my well-educated, well-heeled, serious hunting buddies will too.

Re: For all you complainers out there!!!!!!!
I remember that. I still have that graph from last year somewhere on my computer. I wonder what caused Infiniti to drop one down, especially when considering the fact that a lot of the little problems were fixed in the 04' models...

He He. Actually, I think the H2 is classified a truck by the EPA, so I don't think thay have to report the mileage ratings on the sticker. The couple I've seen with window stickers didn't list the mileage info. However, I did read somwhere that a significant percentage of H2 owners downgraded the H2 on the Power's survey because they were "suprised" by the poor mileage, which I think supports your argument as to the sophistication of Hummer buyers. Even if the mileage isn't posted on the sticker, I would think that anyone shelling out $50K on a vehicle would do a little homework and find out what kind of mileage it gets before purchasing it.

Re: For all you complainers out there!!!!!!!
Haw, the H2 is basically a Tahoe chassis with new body. Still, I think they look pretty cool, and they are pretty good off-road. However, I'd take a 4Runner with equal ground clearance over the H2 any day if I needed to be somewhere on the other side of some nasty rocks, mud, or other obstacles. Besides, the H2 is hard to fit through many spots in the Rubicon, like Painted Rock, and it sucks too much fuel to make it through without carrying far more gas than everyone else does.
It's just too wide to make it through most of the trails I go on in the Sierras without either getting stuck between rocks, trees, or some combination thereof. Deer Valley Trail, Slick Rock Trail, and several others I know of are just too narrow to fit that damn thing through.
