g35 price in future

This topic was talked about already, but I didn't see many inputs on it. So I was wondering from more people, will there be any price drop on the G35 once the g37 comes out. To be exact, will there be one in the beginning of December. Any opinions would help, thank you.

the price is dropping already.
but i don't think it's gonna drop much more after the G37 comes out..
i mean... how cheap can a G be?? 15k?? don't think so.
and beside, G35 still got it's own great looking which not much cars have it..
so... i think it shouldn't be a BIG drop next year.

just mine .02 thou

I would also like to know about the G35's price in the future. I've heard that it'll drop after the g37 comes out, but by how much? Traditionally, how much do the costs of the old gens cost compared to the cost of the new gens?

Very interested in replies.

G will always cost 30k
Once new G comes out and everyone will see how horrible it is the price of the earlier model will sky rocket.
Right about then our cars will become "Classic" and this status is going to raise the price another 50% or so.

So I want to congratulate all of you on making the best investment move anyone can make. We are about to become very rich.

the 3 series is a different story thou
the E46 didn't bring BMW back from dead (coz BMW has always been a strong brand).
but Infiniti is different, not much ppl even heard or know much about them before the G35 came out, so basically G35 was the main model that bring Infiniti back to life, and of course, the FX35 also helped a lot too.

to be exact, this is what i think.
03~04 $19k~$25k
05 $25k~$30k
06~07 might drop more since the first 2 years always drop the most. beside, if only with $5000 more and they can get a brand new G37. i belive over 60% will go for the G37. (i am assuming the G37 price is the same as G35)

I already see 04s and 05s selling for mid to low 20s. I plan to pickup a 2005 for a hair over 20k a few months after the G37 comes out.

it is really tough to say.. the demand in the market will play a huge role.. the G won the award for Best Residual Value in 2003 which might help keep its value up as well as its reliability, styling. and there is no tradational depreciation formula anyone can follow to gauge this. BMW's are suppose to be one of the best at holding their value but why do i see so many 01-03 7 series going for 25-40k. and why do Honda civics still sell for higher than blue book pricing? Market demands do not have to make sense.

my idea of priceing was base on fully loaded +- Navi, mid low mileage, and good condition with no body work or paint jobs.
