The best way to learn about those 2 things is to do a search and start reading all the posts on the subjects. Just a short take, a CAI "cold air intake" gets air from outside of the engine compartment most likely behind the front bumper, from here it is "cold" air and improves the breathability of the engine increasing HP by about 10 ponies on average. The Hyper grounding kit grounds out certain points of the engine via the negative battery terminal. This smooths out the engine and helps it idle better as well. Plus it looks cool
