definetly after market but it looks like it was dealer installed or at least professionally done. have you taken it to a dealer and asked them ?

I suppose I'll need to remove the armrest and trace the wires. I'll report my findings.

I'm really hoping for that 600 shot of nitrous

he's a broke as that switch...do you even own a G or are you one of those scion want to bes???

I think it's probably to activate the machine gun that comes out of the front grill. Or maybe it could be for the hideaway license plate.

It looks like a dial. If it's a smooth turn, i'm guessing something like a remote gain/crossover or possibly lighting. EDIT: Ok first one i thought was a dial, second one showed it as a rocker, oops But i'm still going with lighting, or the valet/kill switch theories

Don't know why you'd have a nitrous switch in your armrest...

The switch is definitely not parallel with the box that surrounds the jack.

Maybe it was a volume control for a subwoofer.

ok here is what you do.

Get on the highway, do about 120, then flip the switch.

Hopefully you dont flip over or blow up. lol
