ok i went to a auto shop and asked them a few questions about my car ( 03 G35 Coupe ). My car currently has 35 xxx Km on it. I asked them that sometimes when i press the clutch down i hear nosies, like somethings not oiled up and i heard loud clicking nosies one time after starting my car up near the passenger air bag.
they told me they dont know anything about the clicking noise but the clutch noise they have to take something out and oil it up or something. something about a V thing grinding on something and its not lubed up.
i called the dealership to book an appointment and they said its $108 for a inspection if they find nothing wrong with it or the problem is not under warrently.
someone give me some advice?
Also i want to get a full kit. any suggestions? i want a simple clean kit. i live in toronto so there are alot of pot holes =(

Chances are what you're hearing is the throw-out bearing. Sometimes they
make funky noises.

Warranty should cover that since it is not a wearable item. I have had plenty of cars, especially mustangs, where they go out a lot. Dealer always warrantied it.
They may try to give you a hard time about it since it is the same labor cost as a clutch install. Stick to your guns though.
Once you get them to say ok, then this may be the time for a clutch replacement. In my experience I just paid an extra $50 for the clutch install when they replaced the TOB. Got all of the labor under warranty! Also consider an aftermarket TOB that may be more reliable, but that will not be under warranty if you do/or if they know about it since most of these look the same.
