i agree 100% ^. a burnout doesnt show your car is fast it just shows it has bad tires and alot of low end torque

umm heres some facts

Lexus says the 3270-pound IS 300 can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.1 seconds and past the quarter-mile post in 15.3 seconds. ...

0-60 Quarter Mile Times. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan 6.2 14.8 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe 5.5 14.2 ...

kinda sad even the 4 door sedan smokes the is300 and are cars wght MORE.

If its an automatic you cannot do a burn out. If its a manual you can, but I have no idea how to do them in a manual. If its an automatic you can do a peel out but you cannot spin the tires while staying still.

sure you can, just find a couple of the biggest guys you can to lift the back end (of your light little car of course)... Slap that B!tch into "manual" and get in second... drop her and wooo nelly!!

god the good old days when two guys could lift a car and do sick bleach burnouts in 2nd....

The G35 doesn't 'feel' fast from what I understand because of the VVT system that continously varies valve timing to provide a very smooth torque curve. You don't 'feel' the torque because it is so smooth, so the car doesn't 'feel' fast.

However, if you can't tell the difference between a 'slow' car and a car that is cutting the throttle so you can NOT spin the tires I wouldn't expect you to pick up on the whole torque thing.
