I'll do better than that. Go look under your hood on your G35 and tell me it's not a Nissan.
Note the code in the upper right hand corner and

I ran with just the Mt. Fugi and liked it, then I turned into a poser and went with full JDM V35 badging.

And that proves what? Everybody already knows that Infiniti is owned by Nissan. The car itself is still not a Nissan or a Skyline. My fact still remains, only ricers and posers put "Skyline" or "Nissan" on their Infiniti G35. The same argument applies to Acuras that install the Honda symbol - have you ever seen one that wasn't a rice boy?

In Japan the car is considered a Nissan Skyline. Why not rename it here.

Exactly, who cares if he's a poser and a rice boy - I'm just calling it what it is. The G35 is not a Nissan skyline, just like the Solstice is not a Sky, just like the 300C is not a Charger, just like the Murano is not an FX. Just because two vehicles share a similar platform does not mean they are the same car.

P.S. You need to grow up. By the way, it's people like me that keep you employed. Could you repeat my order back to me, don't forget I would like frys with that.

Dude i see ALOT of similarities between the two. THEY ARE IDENTICAL! Just different badging.

Infiniti G35

Nissan Skyline 350GT

Infiniti G35 Interior

Nissan 350GT Interior

Its the same thing with the Infiniti M45 and Nissan Fuga

Nissan Fuga

Infiniti M45

Nissan does it because the Skyline and Fuga are to nice of vehicles to be put under the Nissan name tag in the US!

Some people just need to educate themselves on this matter before flappin their gums

Actually, in japan the G35 inis a Skyline 350GT.

No its not a matter of opinion, its a fact.

I don't like rebadges because its not authentic; but the fact is, they are exactly the same car, just different names for different places (and different driver side).

Yes, Infiniti is Nissan and the G35 is a 350GT.

But unless the car came directly from Japan, its not an authenthic 350GT, even though its exactly the same car.

If someone wants to rebadge, might as well change the driver side too to make it look authentic.

I have nothing against rebadges; but its definately not for me.

I just don't see why people would go from Infiniti to Nissan, as if its something to brag about.

In my opinion... Debadging is clean, rebadging is useless.

To each their own.

It's built by Nissan, hence it is a Nissan, but with a luxury name which only means the manufactures can get more $$ for it.
Some ppl like me like to honor what the vehicle really is, how it became what it is and known as in the rest of the world. Not some so-called North American luxury car with it's luxury name as well as certain North American parts in comparision to authentic OEM JDM parts.
I've seen many ppl who know what JDM is, what it represents and keeps it true to form. That's not a poser in my book.
If after you decide to research this issue and still feel like I and many others are posers, well....all I can say is...and STFU...lol

Well, I do agree with some of the statements, but don't agree with "true to form" statement.

The fact is, an Infiniti G35 is "true to form" here in the U.S, whereas the JDM badging is "true to form" in Japan.

Same car, same everything, except it is what it is, depending on where its at

I respect everyones opinions. Just as long as opinions stay opinions, and not facts.
