Same car, same everything, except it is what it is, depending on where its at

I respect everyones opinions. Just as long as opinions stay opinions, and not facts.

It's cool. IMO , replacing my oem USDM parts with oem JDM parts is true to form and not being a poser. Only major difference being mine is North American verision with LHD because of how the driving is set up here.
It's not like I'm badging with GTR emblems, which in imo is not true to form, it's not a R32, R33 or R34. Totally different car, but some ppl do that. Each to their own I say. The previous bashing from that guy wasn't necessary.

06CPV35,

I still don't think its true to form, but its definately not being a poser.

A poser, like you stated would be a G35 rebadged into a GT-R. Sadly, its happened before

I all my badges on, but if I were to do anything with them, it would debadge them to leave just the Infiniti emblem on. I think it looks clean!

But unless the car came directly from Japan, its not an authenthic 350GT, even though its exactly the same car.

If someone wants to rebadge, might as well change the driver side too to make it look authentic.

I have nothing against rebadges; but its definately not for me.

I just don't see why people would go from Infiniti to Nissan, as if its something to brag about.

In my opinion... Debadging is clean, rebadging is useless.

To each their own.

I hear ya...but the car DOES come from japan... if it was made in the US..it would be 5+ grand cheaper.. I have the skyline badging on my car...but I'll probably be taking it all of since I am redoing the whole car. I also forgot to mention people in japan rebadge the skyline 350gt to a g35 ...not directing this to you though but for others that seem to think this is rice...what would a jdm to usdm rebadge be called?

Before I went JDM badging, I ran with just the Mt. Fugi on rear.

Totally agree it looks clean that way.
Seen no badging on back at all, that looks real clean too.
Seen Mt. Fugi and Skyline lettering...lol...no comment.
It's whatever you like.

Honestly, I've been to Japan and driven the Skyline V35, and it's the same car minus the right hand drive. They do have other engine options (all smaller by the way 3.0, 2.5), but other than that... identical. The only reason that Acura, Lexus, and Infiniti exist is to sell cars made by Honda, Toyota and Nissan at a premium price under the guise of a "luxury brand" in a market that wouldn't normally spend 30k+ on an Japanese import. All of the same cars are available in Japan under the non premium brand name. And yes, some do rebadge to Infiniti in Japan... I actually do a lot of trading back and forth for the harder to get parts

Now the r32, r33, and r34 are a completely different animal all together.

Couple pics from the Skyline ownersclub meeting I went to while in Tokyo I say rebadge if that's what you want.
