Well old_s13, I wouldn't consider it 100% functional bar being right there to block any use of the already small trunk.
The reason we comment on stupid things like the strut bar is some of us may have prospected in being the Z. Now I have to wait for the 350zx, which is another few years. Plenty of time to get bored with my G.

i had Kareem Abdul Jabbar in the back of my coupe. it was uncomfortable for him. ofcourse we love those two crappy seats!

not a user on this forum, but when i read your comments dragon i had to reply...
"If I had bought a track options Z, I would have had to switch out the regular seats and bought OEM black leather ones, and switched out the audio and install OEM Bose system and all this crap, because they simply don't offer it with the Track trim on the car. Stupid if you ask me. "
why would you want all that crap in a track car... track options means its for the TRACK. you are not interested in stupid options like sound system, leather seats and all that bs. a REAL enthusiast would replace the stock seats and gut the interior, including the a/c, sound system, rear seats and any other garbage that might be slowing down the car. the fact that you wish the track trim Z had black leather seats, a bose sound system sounds to me like the kid with the honda civc with a full aero kit, giant spoiler and xenon headlights; creating noise pollution with his coffee can muffler and sound system that cost more then his POS car. your comment about the strut bar... strut bars help with cornering... energy transfer. something you're obviously not interested in.
why did you buy your car? lemme guess... u wanted something sporty looking but ur not actually into racing, or you consider racing driving fast in a straight line. oh boy, im doing 100mph + on a highway! i'm fast! ugh ... you place emphasis on hardware instead of driver skill (your twin turbo comment ...ugh). wat's the difference between you and the kid with a 4ft tall spoiler and 'hella mods' on his car? maybe a few years older and a bit more money.

Wow. Amazingly enough, the 350Z actually comes FACTORY with a STICKER affixed to the inside of the trunk instructing people HOW to fit golf clubs inside their Z.

Believe it or not, but in Japan, a standard automobile trunk should be able to hold 2 golf bags. Of course there are cars that don't.. i.e. Miata, MR2 Spyder. I have friends that work for Toyota and Nissan.. that's what they told me.

I never knew plastic could rust. I guess it's possible if you say they cause your car to rust since they attach to the plastic parts.
