I don't understand what the problem is with a hitch on a G. I've seen lots of nice cars with hitches on them. I'm an avid mountain biker and I need a means of getting to the trails. Besides, the hitch is barely noticeable unless you put something in it (like a bike rack).

If you position that hitch properly, the red light cameras can't read your license plate.

but the hitch sits under the car.. how would that block the license plate unless it had something attached to it?

I ended up having a friend make one into the rear of my car. $200. I pull the plate off and there is the hitch. if the plate is on the car you will never know its there. I just have to get a hinge for the plate or something so it still has a home when I am pulling my waverunner or GSXR

Here are some pics... I tried to get under the car to get pics, but I am at work, and don't want to get dirty, nor do I have a jack. I stuck the camera under there, but the pics didn't come out good. Yes, I know there is a couple scuffs on the bumper, it was like that when I bought it.

Basically I had a hitch off a 1991 Honda Prelude that we cut the ends off of, welded to the bumper support brackets, and just basically just cut and welded to make it work. I wish i could had taken it off the car before I traded it in...

Thanks for the quick reply. I will have to check this out at home since my work blocks certain websites.
