Someone Scratched My Front Bumper...

I was planning on buying the bulletproof rear lip spoiler at some point in time...just noticed on my car that someone f*cked up my front left side of my bumper...not low enough to just "fix it" with a front lip spoiler (which I also planned on getting from Bulletproof), but high enough to even scratch my clear corners...anywho...wanted to ask ya'll (no I'm not from Texas, just went to school there...SoCal boy...) what my best options were as far as either replacing the front bumper or spending the money to get it "fixed"...any thoughts would be much appreciated.

BTW....will post pics on 1/5 of my PIAA LED 168 lights that I put in my sidemarkers and parking lights...and the PIAA Super Xtreme H4 bulbs replacing the fog lights...I couldn't be happier...taken the pics, but don't have the cord to hook the camera up to a computer till I get to work on Monday.

Hope everyone had a good and safe holiday season . :-)

Re: Someone Scratched My Front Bumper...

If it's just scratched, why get a "new" bumper? Just have it fixed/repainted. After having my old car's rear bumper hit and cracked (never found out who did it; GRRR!), along w/ paying a $500 deductible for a new bumper, I found out it would only cost me a few more dollars/month to lower my comp. deductible on my insurance to $50 for cr*ppy incidents like this. I suggest looking into it, if you haven't already; it really softens the blow to your wallet when a-holes do s*** like this to your ride, but of course it doesn't make you any less angry, unfortunately.

Re: Someone Scratched My Front Bumper...

We'll see, that's the thing...haven't looked into getting it fixed yet. The scrapes are deep enough where there is very noticeable damage to the bumper (but yes, I consider myself ****...but then again, I would like to think that most of us on this web site would not tolerate anything like this), I used the cover-up paint (my car is BS) and it's OK from a distance, but still driving me nuts...I guess my problem, and the reason I posted this was because my deductible is $500 (and I DO NOT need ANYTHING else on my insurance record) and if I'm going to pay like $300 for a paint job...I'd kind of rather buy a whole new bumper for a couple hundred more...IF I have to pay for it...god I'm drunk...just realized it's Friday and yeah...on G35Driver.com and it's 10:30...might have issues when...definitely need to start drinking tomorrow at 7am when I wake up...too much time with the family....back to reality...any thoughts are obviously much appreciated...

Random Thought: Any Detroit Lions fans out there....?
