325 HP COUPE
Re: 325 HP COUPE
I thought ECU upgrade was suppose to give 10hp? I would seriously like to see some one do this so they can actually see if this true or not. I think a strong light wieght ram air hood might give it better power at more times and maybe even 5hp gain not too sure tho.
Re: 325 HP COUPE
According to what I read from TechnoSquare's site http://www.technosquareinc.com/g35.htm their ECU mod alone is giving about 5-7 RWHP. Remember though as I mentioned above TS recommends doing all your "other" mod's first which will allow them to custom tune your ECU for possibley better results. Peace.

Re: 325 HP COUPE
Wait. What about the pulleys? Probably get 10 more there too.
The mods are great but in the aggregate it is I think unlikely that they will total 45hp on this car. The exhaust is going to have to be changed out together with the cats, and that is going to add another $1400 installed. Even with that change I think 35-40 is the upper end for this car in N/A. There is a diminishing returns problem, and a FI unit will add 45-50% more crank hp even with everything else left stock. So for the money....40hp or 120hp?
