Re: Serious problem over ~4000RPM in 6M/T

I forgot to mention the car will also stall if shifting into neutral after hard acceleration, and not necessarily holding down the clutch. The RPM's will just drop to 0, so this would rule out old_s13 and Rainmeister's suggestions. I don't have the Stillen air box either.

well, you have to see what your idle is set at.. if its too low, have it bumped up. i dont think its a serious issue, but regardless.. its something to work on.

good luck!

the engine idle resets and stuff on the technosquare website may help. i had that problem after my install, but after the resets, it went away.

Re: Serious problem over ~4000RPM in 6M/T

Well I have had this same problem for months now and have done the Gas/p, Accelerator Pedal, Throttle Valve, and Idle Air Volume Learning resets (in that order). Although I can tell a diff after a ECU reset and the Air Volume reset, none of these resets help with my idle. It just seems to keep dropping down to around 400 RPM. My coupe is a 5AT. The resets will help the idle, but it ends up back at around 400 RPM. I do know that this didn't start until I installed the Stillen box. At that time I had nothing else installed. I installed the 350Z tube a couple of weeks ago, but it didnt make the problem worse or better. I guess I need to take it to the shop. I have been thinking about installing my stock air box and doing a reset to try to isolate the problem to the Stillen Air Box but gawed what a pain. If anyone has any more ideas or information on this please share.
