Hello all,
I had part of the rear quarter repainted on my G coupe and they had to remove the clear plastic paint/chip guard that is in front of the rear wheel well. Is this a decal or painted on by the factory and can it be had?

it definitley is a decal and can be easily bought from the dealer..think it is around $20 or so. call the parts dept...if the guy who is painting your quarter is a shop..they should be able to call and do it for you.

 

Excellent. I'll give them a call. Thanks for the info. Actally I'm kind of surprised that no one (at least that I have seen) is putting these on inother colors, say black over silver, like they do on the 911.
