as i know, Japan has a restriction with the top speed of 180km/h unless they modded the ecu. And 350GT is Nissan logo. that's all i know.

That was a gentleman’s agreement that no longer applies. There are a few Lexus' models that are over 300hp. I believe the lancer EVO is now over the 300 mark too.

from all the info i have researched on the G/350GT they have the exact same power ratings. an pretty much the GT is just a premium package for it. only real dif. between the cars is what side you drive from.

just found out that all japanese car were limited to 280HP from 1988~2005
(rx-7, supra, gt-r, 300zx, nsx-r, 3000gt, evo, sti, etc...)
but in order for ***. cars to compete with others, the limit was canceled, and now.... they can go as high as they can...
(is350, 05+ skykline, 05+ fairlady, honda legend, etc...)

THat limitation was like it has already been stated a gentlemen's agreement in advertising. Many of those cars dyno'd much higher.

It's the same car, they have different engine options - a 3.5l (rare), 3.0l (which most people have) and a 2.5l. Rhd, Nissan badging, digital clock, and some factory options that arent available here. Otherwise, everything else is the same.

I wouldn't say 'more' factory options, I would say 'different' options. From what I've read the GT350 lacks a lot of the 'luxary' options (like cruise control, heated seats, etc) and has availible 'techy' type cool stuff that we don't have (folding mirrors, cool remotes, etc).

The 350gt also gets Auto tilting sideview mirrors for when you reverse you can see the ground and curbs behind you, no more curb rash...Lucky
