TB is almost like a metallic OB if you ask me. But I'm not a fan of metallic colors.

Black is fantastic; I love it. You should buy whichever one jumps out at you. Having said that tho, these guys are correct in the cleaning part. I am in Florida and the black does attract dust quite frequently. Even using Z6 from Zaino (which is supposed to repel dust), it still gets dusty easily.

Get what color you like and let the dealer wash it twice a week!

Re: Almost sold on black...

I just got my black g35 Sedan about 6 months ago. To be honest black is not that difficult to keep clean but it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep it swirl free. I guess it all depends on how **** you are about swirl marks. At first i was pissed every time i saw those scratches but now i have lived with the fact that black will ALWAYS have scratches. anyway most of the scratches only appear in certain types of lighting.

even the scratches can be minimized by careful washing and drying. also you can send your car to get professionally buffed to remove the swirls every year. I thinking washing once a week will do the job. also get yourself some quick detailer and a california duster to help get the dust off your car in between washes.

but let me tell you truth i LOVE my black g35. Yes it takes more work and it can be heartbreaking at times. But black looks amazing when its clean and detailed. I can't imagine having any other color. If you are going to spend 35K on a car you better buy a color that you love.

I love black too, and don't think it's that hard to keep up.

You can easily get rid of swirls with Crystal Guard or Zaino, among other detail products.

Wash weekly, keep good coat of Zaino, and invest in a california duster. Black is the best color on the G when it is clean.

black looks great. but it will be a full time job cleaning it. plus you have to worry about swirl marks.

if you like black 10x more than any other color, get it.

I live in pretty rural Louisiana...and I LOOOOVE the way my OB coupe looks when it's all washed up (especially in Baton Rouge...there just aren't many there)...but I SWEAR, I'll never own a black car again....I'm just too **** and I have to wash it way too much to be satisfied.
