Nope, I left it wired up. Can't have enough brake lights on letting those idiots behind you to know you are slowing down. lol. but i left it hooked up, everything work fine.

Those are the shots, leave some feedback please. It was my first spoiler install, but I think it went pretty decent.

That one is actually OEM factory style spoiler.

not the same as the OEM...you can tell the difference between the factory and the replica if you look at it carefully. First off the LEDs on the replicas are usually not as bright as the all your other LEDs on the vehicle...secondly, where the LED strip is on the spoiler, the area bulges out a bit, whereas the OEMs are flat like the rest of the spoiler...the OEM spoilers look like the LED housing was snapped onto the spoiler, whereas the replicas look like they built the spoiler with a hole cut out for the LED strip...it's something that most people won't notice unless they know about it....try to take some pictures of your spoiler with a regular digital camera and I'll take of mine and we'll do a comparison...

again like I said, it's not something that's noticeable unless if you're really looking for it. For me, once I found out it was not built exactly the same, I didn't want the aftermarket ones anymore...

notice the 2 lines going down on each side of the LED panel, there's no bulging at all...it's actually pretty flushed with the surface of the rest of the spoiler:

I made this comparison with the spoilers we put on the Scion tCs at my dealership. Same aftermarket OEM style spoilers as you have, but I noticed the difference when I compared them to one of my co-worker's OEM spoiler.

as far as all the aftermarket ones I've seen, they all have the bulge...only the factory OEM ones have the 2 lines that run down...

I'm having trouble wiring an LED light to the wires coming out of the right side of the trunk. I have an 06 coupe. When I splice and test connect the LED wires to the wire in the spoiler wing the LED light stays ON whether the car is on or off and whether the brakes are depressed or not. I am wiring the positive line to the positive line and negative line to the negative line. I see above that Gqong wired them up in reverse...I'll try that in a little but if it doesn't work does anyone have any suggestions? As this light should only be controlled by the brake pedal...
