Question For Laser Red Owners

I was wondering out of all you laser red coupe owners, how many of you guys actually experienced the infamous really bad chipping problem with supposedly mainly the laser reds?

I bought mine with 14k on it and it has some chips on it
Not sure what you mean why this "infamous" problem but I can tell you it looks like some good highway driving. The front bumper is O.K. since I buffed them. But the hood chips are down to the primer

Although all G35s have paint chipping issues, it is true and can be verified by any honest factory rep that the Laser Red is notorious for weak paint, and horrific chipping. There have been a number of Laser Red cars at my local dealership that have been almost completely resprayed.

I have painted the front about 4 times now. I'm a fanatic I hate scratches , dents and scrapes..So that is why so many times. I got the clear bra now and that stopped the chips and it actually stopped the hood from being scratched the last time I went to vegas just didn't stop the piece of metal that hit the hood..

Definitely have some bad paint chipping on the hood. I've got about 55K miles, but they appeared by 20K. Good question regarding the warranty -- does anyone know if it's covered?

Infiniti knows the problem. The owner needs to call Infiniti Consumer affairs and start your own paper trail. If so many owners of the Laser Red cars (as well as other colors) have gotten satisfaction, why can't you? Go for it and make a stink. They know the paint is crap, you know the paint is crap, and you want it corrected.
