No worries on the 'headaches' lol. -- the burning is the coating on the ex/pipes, headers, mufflers, engine etc, which will disappear after a short time.
I don't have the tire pressure warning system on my '03, but I'd suggest to just make sure the tires are pumped up regularly (35 psi) and probably the alarm won't sound. The owner's manual will tell you when it should go off.

On tire inflation, I might be wrong but my 2003 G35 coupe shows 30psi as spec on my door sticker. Should I keep the inflation higher?
