2005+ the sunglass holder was redesigned so it can actually fit sunglasses
2005+ cluster look different
2006+ navi can tilt and motorized
2005+ they got rid of 2 power sockets (driver/passenger) and put one in the glove compartment
Great info, the 05 navi is motorized and can tilt as well

Im glad I read up on the differences before I bought mine. 05 is the best bang for your buck, IMO

great info here.

05+ coupe front bumpers have a little spoiler on each side.

04 brembo is a beauty... I had a choice to go either 04 or 05. 05 was imo more redefined product. i mean... who really needs a tape deck in 2004? 05's really bumped up the practicality of the vehicle. However I went for the brembos.... It's great!! until when you have to get them serviced. Can you believe 750 dollars (canadian) for one rear rotor? Of course I got the dba's..

04 in my opinion has the nostalgic appeal. More brute (heavier clutchl anyway..) and no bs feel. Whilst the 05+ have the redefined, practical, sophisticated feel.

what's your take?

Nothin' wrong with '03s!

hard to find 05+ anyways with full black interiors and 5-speeds. can't stand tan interiors. Plus I love my Brembos. Interior is good enough for me.

when i was looking for mine i wanted white with black interior, happy i found one with brembo's also. The only thing i like better in the 05 is the new cluster design, other than that i like everything about the 03's much better than the 05's. If i had to do it all over again i would get 03 with brembo's or the 06(more agressive bumper design), i wouldn't even consider the 05.

The 05 is an odd year--no Brembos or Michelin Pilots from the 03/04, no bluetooth, exterior changes from the 06/07s. Plus, you have to be really careful if you get an 05+ manual that burns oil and is out of warranty.

And, while the 05 interior may be better in some regards than the 04, it's still not a great looking interior--kind of looks like the aluminum trim was an aftermarket thought.
Plus, the 05+ seats tear at the seems and the leather wrapped steering wheels don't age well.

IMO the best part of the 05+ interior is that Infiniti got their heads out of their ***** and put a black carpet in the car instead of the WEAK light gray in the 03/04s.

My 03 6mt steering feel is a lot heavier/ solid than my friend's 07 6mt. I like my heavy steering feeling better because it feels more sporty

Which Front Brake pads for Sport Package G35?

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe with all the options. The full sport/premium and aero packages as available from the dealer at the time. Are the front brake pads on this car the same as the base G35 coupe? I can't find a listing for pads, and some listings show the pads not fitting cars with the sport package.

Buy the Oem Ones from the dealer near you. They are competitively priced and you'll get the right part.
