do you guys ever put the G up on 4 jack stands?

ive seen it done on a 350 and im sure you can do it on a G. ive never jacked my car up so im just wondering how to do it. i read the manual but it just says how to jack it up. any info would be great

 

The manual shows you where to jack the G up front and aft. Just use those
points to position the jackstands. Kinda like when I had my Volks installed
they had four jacks under my G right behind the front wheels and just ahead
of the rear wheels!

 

I used 4 cinder blocks, soo im sure 4 jackstands woud work fine.

 

i just use jackstands on mine.

 

which side do you do first? the front or the back?

 

And here I thought my friend was the only person to use cinder blocks. His Porsche Boxter S is sitting on them right now.

 

where do the jack stands go under?

 

am i just supposed to use the factory sissor jack to jack it up?

 

I have had mine up on 4 quite a few times.

 

for the front (of my coupe) there is this long metal support bar that goes to the rear of the car, i put it there...
for the rears, i put it on those metal tabs.

 

do you use the factory jack? or a floor jack

 

anyone?
