Here's an idea....

Instead of shipping it, you might want to look into the Amtrak Auto train. It takes you from Florida to Virginia. And then you can drive from Virginia to New York, which is about 5 hours.

I've done it before and I would definitely recommend it. It doesn't cost much either.

Look in autoweek there's a company called horseless carriage. A friend of mine has shop that specializes in aston martin repair & thats the company he uses.

If you want first class for your G, then Horseless Carriage and Intercity Lines are the best. You pay a little more, but the car is shipped in an enclosed trailer, with hydraulic lifts so your car is never at risk of being scraped on ramps, etc. It will also arrive as clean as when you dropped it off. I shipped my Z06 from OH to NY, and from NY to CA this way. Highly recommended. I used Intercity Lines both times, and was very pleased. http://www.intercitylines.com
