9 HP To the wheels with a Z-Tube, a K&N and a Grounding Kit?
I'm running an Injen CAI intake, Fujitsubo exhaust, and waiting for my next mod to come in, a Crawford plenum and quite honestly, if I get like 9-10 HP to the rear wheels with everything I'll consider myself lucky!

Ok this what every company who sells or makes performance aftermarket parts and accessories have to say about Fuel Economy...
Generally they'll advertise that their product will enhance your engines performance, and in doing so, it will allow your engine to run more efficiently, which will in return raise fuel economy... For the most part that make sense and is an acceptable answer....
BUT the question is more, how you intend to use your car with the mods, that's gonna effect the fuel economy. If you're looking for performance parts, you're not getting them so that you can get an extra mile per gallon so you can take the long way home from the grocery store. You're getting them for what they'll give ya in terms of performance, sound, and cosmetic appeal.
So for all of you who are so concerned with fuel economy, it has more to do with the size of your foot, than the actual product.

Re: for those who added hp
I've seen G35 dyno's with only a Z tube adding @ 5.5 to 6 to the wheels. With the K&N, I figure maybe 1hp extra.
I've seen grounding kits adding @ 1% to stock engines. or @ 2 to 2.5hp.
I've noticed my MPG getting better in general over time. I'm not sure how much of that is attributed to the mods vs. breakin.
