wow, thats pretty ridiculous and unfortunately i work at a dealership so i see it happen alot and its a shame. You would think people working at a dealership would care about the cars theyre driving around but they just fly em into any spot avaliable w/o caring if the body gets scratched/damaged. Im not saying every dealership is like this but it would be nice if people were as careful as we are with our cars...
I try to keep my car out of the "STEALERSHIP" as much as possible, so for this reason i chose to ignore the recall. my front bumper is shot but the rest of my car is fine, i dont want nothing damaged.

I just had my recall done. I say don't do it, and stay away from Infiniti dealerships.
I am Norcal and just in case anyone cares, it was Steven's Creek Infiniti (aka Frontier Infiniti). The first time I was there they changed the light but forgot to connect the ground wires and never checked whether the lights worked after the install. I didn't know until I left my friends house later that night. It was not fun driving around with just fog lights. Luckily he lived only 5 miles from my house. I took my car back and they connected the ground and checked to see they turned on. After, I found out that my beams were not aligned. The passenger side was pointing down at the ground and the driver side was pointed to the heavens. I called the same service manager and he insisted that was how the new lens was supposed to be. After half an hour arguing with him he agreed to have a technician look at it. He drove my car in the bay and pointed the lights at the wall. He noticed the passenger light was low and readjusted the passenger side to level the driver side. I used my car that night and noticed that both of my lights where too high. I finally gave up and adjusted my lights myself. The lights are no different (not better than the old ones) so don't do it.

no sweeping statements please. i have nothing but stellar customer service from infiniti of annapolis. i've heard some stories about issues with other infiniti dealerships in the area, but i would assume that is the case industry wide. isn't this one of the reasons that this forum exists? if someone has a horror story about a dealership, please name that dealership. if anyone knows of an alternative dealership that person can go to, please also give that information in a response.

you need a socket extension and a 12mm. Pop your hood, look behind the headlight. You will see a lil bolt with gear-like teeth. I believe counterclockwise aims the beam downward, clockwise up.
