well unless your going FI theres not that much improvement you can get in performance. Still, those minor improvements will cost you quite a bit. But if your goal is FI, I would any day pick an FI G with the stock looks over a fully pimped exterior.

Go F/I, then some wheels and you are good to go.

I wouldn't consider 40+ HP minor plus you get the sound along with the
increase in power/torque. Unless you intend to spend $12K to $18K to go FI
and do it right NA isn't useless/boring. The amount quoted is what it would
cost to go FI and do it right.......right means 500HP+......Oh yea, I haven't
seen anyone with a "Pimped" G35! While watching T.V. try the Speed
Channel!

personal opinion: unless you plan on tracking the car/racing (not on the street!) then the performance is some-what unnecessary. how often will you want to go over 140 mph if your not racing or tracking or anything? how often will you need to accelerate pedal to the metal?

id go with looks. both is definately the best, but if i could only do 1, id go for looks. the car has enough power for a daily driver
