i removed my stock filter. the whole thing. then i turned my car on and it gave me a check engine light so i turned it off immidiately. then i reinstalled my stock filter and the service engine light still comes on. is there a way i can turn it off?

 

disconnect the battery overnight....reconnect it in the morning and you should be "Check Engine" free....not too good of an idea to start the car with no intake tho...

 

Why would you want to remove the entire filtration system in the first place?

 

im removing the restrictors from the G tube and the stock filter to see if a sound difference accours. yeah i just did an ecu reset and it was fine. thanks for the help!

 

just get a z tube and a k&n filter if you want to go cheap. If you want good sound then buy a CAI.

 

is there really a big sound difference from the Ztube/JWT compared to CAI? I remember when I installed my Ztube/JWT there was quite a big difference in sound already (in a good way).
