Brake problems - Help!
hey guys, total noob here, my wife drives an '04 coupe. I am having some brake work done but have run into some problems. My buddy is a tech at a colorado infiniti so he hooked me up with front and rear pads. Also i had to replace the rotors but he suggested eBay. So i bought these -

Now the problem - My buddy went to install everything today and all seems fine on the front but in the back, the clips are not holding the pads on , saying the clips are sticking in the drilled holes and the rotors are too thick. I know my terminology here is humorous but please bear with me I'm completely uninclined mechanically....does this make sense? what could the problem be. The guys that sold me the rotors are assuring me they are right.
ANy input is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!
sorry, here is a better link to the ebay item --
