Re: g35 vs rx-8 vs wrx vs s2000 vs rsx vs roadstar vid
lol that TL post was great! Even TL owners doubt that post starter. They are right about him over exagerating. I don't know how he can explain the race gear by gear. That's almost as bad as the "Fast and Furiouse" 5 minute quarter mile.
In the g35 6mt 1st and 2nd are so quick you can hardly think. The AT is a different story, you can't even tell when it shifts and the low end seems faster then the 6mt. The guy was driving an auto so that's kind of a no brainer, just step on the gas. It's hard to say, but I call him on his BS. He can come out here and race for all I care. Isn't our CVTCS superior to VTEC?
The new TL looks pretty nice though, I'll give it that.
The s2000 is a different story. That car is nicely balanced. Sorry, but it makes our coupe look like a fat cow . Sorry stuck on the "fat cow" thing

I just finished watching that video like 10 times. It is a friggin riot. The comments the drivers make while passing/being passed had me on the floor.
The poor rx-8 driver went from commenting on his impressive launch to seemingly having despair in his voice when each car would pass him. When he was second to last started trying to justify his car not sucking because "It's fun to drive, it looks good, 4 adults can fit, it's not all that slow" was classic.
The Skyline driver made a comment that if the car(skyline) was as light as the Z and had the Z's lower center of gravity it might be a different story. This is a keeper. Thanks for the link.

Re: g35 vs rx-8 vs wrx vs s2000 vs rsx vs roadstar vid
I got this DVD a couple of months ago from my friend (Honda Civic Si driver) and the race at the Tsukuba track follows the usual format for that show...they stagger the cars by HP to Weight Ratio and run 'em for 4 laps. The drivers are always the same JGTC drivers, so you can't say the vehicle operator's suck. The guy piloting the Skyline was doing some wicked drifts going into the start-finish straight on just about every lap. He exclaimed that the Skyline does some cool drifts and corners surprisingly well. The race is the same result as the last issue of the DVD magazine where they raced a Z and it barely got beat by a S2K also. I can tell that on a short race course, the S2K and the Z/Skyline is a good match-up, but on a longer course, the coupe could definately get the legs on the roadster. I'm looking forward to seeing the next race with a coupe in the field.

I'll just say no they can't stay with the G, and mention that my brother has an RX-8.
