Lock actuator!!

So I got the lock actuator fixed at troncalli/nalley in atlanta and it cost me $549 !!!!!! WTF!?!? It might just be me, but that's pretty damn expensive!!! Just venting!

Now what exactly does a lock actuator do? Lock the doors? Either way that does seem steep. They don't call them stealerships for nothing

yea it was broken so i had to reach over to lock/unlock it..... lol

and yea, definitely a stealership!

Did yours stop working out of nowhere? Cause that's what happened to me. I take it this isn't warranty unless otherwise?

Lock actuator is expensive. I had to buy one for '01 Lexus GS300 and it cost about $300. This is not including labor. If your car is still under warranty, then the dealer should replace it for free.

yeah i just did my drivers side today,the part cost me 175 tax in canadian, i get good deals as my company does nissan dealer work,and it took me less than an hour to change,but in all fairness a newbie could do his in about 2 hours.550.00 to do this is insane,the part only retails for 225.00 canadian and there is no way they book anymore then 2.5 hours.
