Hey, i just got my G (5at) and it has about 300 miles on it. I heard people talk about a lot of thigns i shouldn't do with it for the first 1000 miles are so, like don't punch the accelerator or rev it past the rev limiter. I also heard that I shouldn't use teptronic or the gears will shift harder. I was wondering if this information is valid, and if there is any modifications or additions to this info. Thank you!

 

The way i see it you have 3 options.

1- Follow the Owners Manual guidelines.

2- Do what you have done in the past to other new cars.

3- Posted in FAQ. Do This.
