Natural competitors for G coupe
Which cars are most commonly cross-shopped with our G coupe? I know the BMW 3 coupe & RX-8 are often compared to the G coupe. Now that a new, more powerful Mustang has arrived, will it be considered against the G for potential buyers? Any other ones?

If you were asking sedan then the Lexus IS, Lincoln LS, Caddilac CTS, etc could be added to the mix. Something I don't hear much about is the MB offerings in this price point. The coupe is nasty looking, but the sedan looks pretty good. Too bad it's mostly all show and no go (0-60 in 7-8 sec). I'm still glad I took the G though!

the coupe reminds me of a ford espire, geo metro and all those little hatch backs.
the Lincoln LS isn't a match. 2 of my neighbors have the 2004. It's funny they upgrade together, before they both had a 2002 then traded in and got the 04. Whenever we see each other on the street we'll race for the last mile stretch home. there's one nice quarter mile sweeper. I've come out ahead both times.
The 1st time one of them told me he had his AC was on, but he'll get me next time. I laughed back and said, "I had my AC on full blast!".

The new Acura TL looks awesome, full of latest technology and it's often compared with our G35 sedan. It has listed more HP than our sedan, and if had been RWD, I think it would have been a toss-up against the G35. Even so, most people say the manual in Acura is much better than ours.
