Well today i took my car in for the 15000 service, i called to make the appointment on Monday and i knew i should have asked how much it would cost but i forgot to ask... Anyway they told me that it would cost me $455.00 for the service. I was like What!!!! Why does it cost that much...They told me some BS but i don't know i was still thinking about the cost..Anyway my question is can i perform the service myself???If so what do i have to do...Is there some where online that i see what i have to do???Does it really cost that much to do this or is the dealership BS....Another thing that pissed me off was that i was suppose to get a loaner car from the dealer but when i go their they were like sorry but you have to be atleast 21 to get a loaner from us...I was like WTF...I can buy one of your cars but cant take a loaner for the 3 hours they said it would take to do the service....I told them never mind i will have to reschedule for a different day then left.....i know its a luxury car but man thats a lot.....

 

You better get this service and make sure you do the 30k as well. It might be in your best interest to drive less to space out the time between intervals

15k service is next for me. I'm going to change the oil, cabin filter and wipers myself. I'll let them to the rest (minus rotate the tires since I just got new ones at ~11k).

 

First of all my stealership quoted me $175 for the 15K service mainly because
I went over the list with the service manager crossing off the items that
don't apply to my G. Rotate tires....can't......under hood I'm about 40%
aftermarket.....brakes aftermarket........oil change....my job! So check my
fluid levels, drive belts and replace my cabin filter. It might also be smart to
check with the local Nissan dealership to find out what they'd charge you
for the same service.......but don't forget to go over the list, you don't need
your antenna serviced......haha
