First Real Mod For G

Im stuck in between on whether I should buy rims or an exhaust for my car. I just came across a used HKS Exhaust system for $700 picked up, so I was just wondering if this was a price worth jumping on instead of buying rims? By the way, I have an 04 coupe 6 spd.

that's really cheap for an HKS system, assuming it's in good condition.

jump on it!

normally, i'd say wheels/drop first, though.

Yea, it looks to be in good condition, just a couple of little scratches on the bottom of the tips

yea for that price it might be the knock off... almost impossible to tell tho lol... i dont know if HKS marks their products like that... but anyways if its real i'd jump all over it... i paid $850 for my Borla installed... and any good new exhaust will run u upwards for that...

it's VERY easy to tell.

the tips look like crap and it has two extra pipes.

the knock-off sells for around 450-650 brand new at the most, anyway.

nope. the real hks only has 7 pieces (including the tips). the replica has 9 pieces (including the tips).

look how dull the replica tips are:

see how much more blue the real hks tips are:

yes, the lighting is different. the but difference in tips is still obvious.

Grab that exhaust..........!

Like they said, "if it's in good shape" Grab it! Since it's used it might not be
a bad idea to have a muffler shop do the install. Most cat-back system have
some issues with leakage. So having a lift and weld available is a definite
plus. Since I'm on my third system (with this car) I'm kinda like a exhaust
hoooo.....HAHA
