Torque breaking
Re: Torque breaking
you talking about powerbreaking?
like stepping on the gas and the break at the same time in order to get the revs up and have a good launch when your racing ?
2003 Black , sunroof, leather,
splashguards, 8 wire Hypergrounding kit, 350Z intake duct, K&N filter.

Re: Torque breaking
i got in a huge argument with someone about this on a Z board...
but, downshifting and letting the engine slow down the car... it isnt the greatest thing in the world to do to your engine..
the lighter the flywheel the faster your engine will slow you down...
the way I look at it...
to replace brake pads is much cheeper then getting in and even jsut adjusting the clutch... you are looking at atleast 300-400 in labor just to drop the tranny, not including parts / clutch adjustment...
id rather replace brake pads... when it comes to engine braking... i only do it on the track so i brake even faster..
