Window Tinting in Manhattan/NYC area
Guys,
I am planning to tint my window. I will be in NYC one week next week, so I am planning to do it there. I guess they are more experience in big city when come to handling G35 compare to the little countryside i am living now.
1. I am wondering if any of you know a good place/shop in NYC area for window tinting?
2. What should I know beside the state law of the state i am living now? GA.
3. I heard metallic tint causes bad cell phone reception. What is the best/ most recommended?
4. What about the method? Bake vs just sticking on the window?
Sorry, i wish i had time to do the research. I did some but i think its more direct to ask the expert!
Thanks in advance~ = )

1. Sorry buddy not from NYC.
2. 32% light transmittance (Whole lot better than CA's 70% requirement). Taken from georgia.gov, House Bill 20 states:
3. Didn't have any cell phone or radio problems with my metallic tint in my other car. Metallic tints reflect more sunlight which ultimately means less heat inside. I have Solar-Guard's charcoal tint. Non-reflective, works just as good when deflecting the sun.
4. Sticking and blow torching is what the installer will do. Just make sure they resolve any issues with the matrix located along the rear passenagers and rear window.

Violation of the law by either driving a vehicle with illegal window tint or installing the illegal material is a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine up to $1,000 and/or up to 12 months imprisonment.
