i was driving on the 5 north today in mission viejo and in my rear view i see a brilliant silver gcoupe just rollin along. i was going 80-85 and the coupe just passed me with no problem. the engine was so quiet for a car going at least 90-95, then maybe 10 seconds later a guy in a solara was trying to race the coupe but couldnt even keep up. the funniest thing i have ever seen. the solaras engine was straining, especially when he dropped down a gear to catch up....which he didnt. in the end he gave up about 2 miles up the road, oddly enough right in front of the mission viejo infiniti.

My bro's got the Solara. A sexy black SE, that's real sharp. Decent power, handling and reliable, but can't hold a candle to my D/G Coupe in the looks, handling and power department. I'm hoping the Coupe's reliability measures up or even exceeds the 'Toy'. Time will tell...............[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

A solar tried to race me. I just remember I didn't have to do much to see him in my rearview mirror. I let him pass so I could see how hard it was to catch back up. I never left 5th gear.

the other cars that try to race a lot are Audi TT's. There's a Mongusta in my area that I see every morning. I really want to be at the light with him just to see how the G compares to that.
