Bad night for driving
Bad night for driving
Man, I'm so frustrated right now I just had to get this off my chest. So it's about 1:15 am and I'm driving home from Buckhead(ATL) and it's raining a pretty decent amount. I'm getting on the highway and its a 2 lane road that merges in to 1 lane before it connects to the highway. I'm in the right lane and there are 2 cars next to me ones in front of me by about 25 feet and the other is behind me by about 30 feet, so I'm getting ready to merge and normally I wouldn't even put my signal on to move the lane over but since it was raining I did. As I start to move over the guy behind me in the other lane start speeding up as if to block me. I go to speed up but realize I'm gonna run out of road so I hit the brakes pretty hard and hit my horn at the guy, I figured that would be the end of it!
He's in the right lane doing about 50(spd limit is 65) and im 2 lanes over doing right around 65. As I'm passing him he speeds up to match my speeds and I look over at him(he can't see me with the tint) and as I do he veers across 2 lanes at me. I quickly get over another lane and give the brakes a good tap. I'm now behind this guy and I realize he's out of his mind so I'm driving very defensively. He get's in front of me and slams on his brakes I thought he might do this and I didn't want to slam on my brakes and spin out so I got over to the right and hit the gas to get away from this crazy guy. A few miles down the road he comes flying up on me(he was easily doing 100) Flashing his brights and he gets right up on me. I had enough of this so I got off at the next exit and pulled in to the gas station where there were people and he just kept on driving. I didn't get his plate number unfortunatley.
This just really pissed me off how stupid and dangerous this guy was, sorry for the rant.

It happens all the time. Its called "road rage". Its one of the many reason why I have 5% tint all around. Just in case some @$$hole wants to flick their brights at me in a fit of anger. Or if I decide that I want a good look at the person without them seeing me. Dark tint is a good defense in situations like this I've found.
What kind of car is that moron driving? I think this happen to everyone, but the good thing is, we can most likely outrun them with our G. It sucks, still, i think you did the right thing!

After reading this I am so mad for you....I don't know what I would do to that car seriously. My window has 22% tint for a good reason. If i don't see it, I won't get upset. It just too crazy in Los Angeles, there is almost shooting road rage everyday. Everyone should learn how to respect each other.
