You did the smart thing though, it's not worth playing games with ppl like that. You will only put urself at risk, let him do his thing cuz if he wants to "go" no reason to bring u with him.

Some people get a power trip by cutting others off, so reacting to what he thinks you will do will only fuel that ego. Don't get dragged in, he will do it enough times that hopefully he will run into another like-minded persona and end up hurting each other; might be only way for them to learn. Even better, get plate number so he's on the lookout list, we don't need dangerous drivers. Being right doesn't make you better if you fall into road rage, so you did the right thing ... veer off and cool off.

Could've simply been a case of jealousy or "red eye" as they call it where i'm from. He sees you in a nice car that he knows he'll probably never be able to afford and decides to try and prove that his car is no slouch either.

Still, as eveyone else said, I commend you on your composure. Not sure if i would've been able to keep my cool like you did.

Nothing to do with driving, but I just wanted to say that I was in Buckhead all weekend for my friends bachelor party weekend.

To the OP, be safe, it was a stupid move of the other driver to do that thing, but I, and many others think its just as stupid to not use a turn signal when changing lanes. If a cop ever sees you change lanes without a signal, it can and I hope will be deemed as an unsafe lane change.
